Sustainable agriculture
Hydrothermal vents are preservations of first ecosystems on the planet Earth where life evolved in the absence of oxygen. We drew inspiration from the life-sustaining molecule of the chemosynthetic world of hydrothermal vents, iron pyrite. We discovered a fertilizer replacement technology by utilizing nano iron pyrite as a seed and root priming agent to power the autotrophs of the photosynthetic world and meet the global food demand.
